PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
IB Mission Statement

Cedar International School engages students in a sophisticated model of academic achievement, intercultural understanding and global awareness. Cedar is the first school in the Territory to be authorized as an IB World School.   The implementation of the International Baccalaureate programmes throughout the entire school signals our determination to ensure we have a school meeting worldwide standards, and following worldwide best practice all while benefiting from our location and the rich natural and cultural resources available to us in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.

Our increased focus on the social and emotional development of our students, on the role of extracurricular activities and on the central role of community service in the development of the whole child allows us to address students with a wide range of talents and abilities and encourage each one to achieve personal excellence
